DIY Digital Marketing Consultations for Therapists
San-Francisco-based. Online and phone consultations for therapists world-wide.
I offer consultations with therapists who are seeking DIY strategies to digitally market themselves and build up their caseload in private practice.
We can be a good fit for consultation if you are:
A therapist who feels uncomfortable or conflicted about marketing yourself
Struggling to explain what makes your work different
Getting no or low-quality inquiries from your online profiles or website despite being a strong clinician
Feeling overwhelmed by SEO, AI searches, websites, or niche decisions
Wanting a full private-pay practice without having to become a social media influencer or regularly invest time into networking
We may work on:
Clarifying your niche(s) and the ideal clients you’d like to connect with
Optimizing your online directory profiles, such as Psychology Today
Google and AI search visibility (SEO/AEO)
Website structure, messaging and copy to target your ideal clients
Increasing website/profile as well as consultation call conversions
Identity-based marketing
Targeting specific locations or virtual clients
Fee conversations with prospective clients and setting your fee structure
Tuning your CTAs to filter for the best fit clients, when you get overwhelmed with consult call requests
About me
I offer expertise built from my own experience as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in San Francisco, a highly competitive therapy market. In less than a year into my associateship, I had a full caseload with long-term clients at my desired fee, and completed 2000 of the 3000 hours for licensure with the target ratio between individual and relational hours. I did so by drawing upon technical and research skills from my former STEM academic career, using niching, SEO, and directory profile optimization strategies. Without costly Google ads, an expensive website designer or a digital marketing company, constant social media posting or blog posts, or using sales tactics that felt inauthentic.
FAQs

Consultation sessions are collaborative and tailored to your practice and goals. We might explore your website, niches, messaging, SEO, consultation process, or your relationship to visibility and marketing.
Some therapists come in with a specific question, while others feel more generally stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to describe their work clearly.
Together, we can identify what may be creating friction and develop marketing approaches that feel aligned with your values, sustainable, and effective.
If an idea comes to me after a session, I’ll text you.

We work with a frequency that works for you. If you are just starting out, my suggestion is to have calls at a fixed frequency for you to stay focussed and build momentum in your marketing.
For those of you who already have a web presence, a clear idea of niches, and are seeking only several new clients, 2 sessions may be enough (1 to introduce core digital marketing ideas and another to follow up after you’ve had a chance to digest and try out suggestions from our 1st session).

Consultation fees:
First 50-min consultation: $350 USD (this includes a quick review of your profile prior to our call)
Other 50-min consultations: $250 USD
I accept Venmo or Zelle as payment for US clients, Interac e-transfer for Canadian ones, and WISE Quickpay for clients outside of North America.

My focus is on therapists who wish to DIY their marketing. If you’d like, I am happy to point you to SEO-oriented templates, AI website builders, website designers, Google ad managers, or companies offering full-service SEO optimization.
And of course, with your existing or emerging materials, we can discuss messaging, niching, site structure, and SEO.
Let’s explore working together.
